The history of surveying dates back to ancient times, with a recorded land register in Egypt in 3000BC. In eighteenth century Europe, a method of surveying known as triangulation, which relied on the measurement of angles, was used to build a hierarchy of networks to allow point positioning within a country.

All illustrative drawings have been specially designed to create a one-of-a-kind piece of art that can be nicely displayed as a unique addition to your décor.

Special Note: Pics #9 & #10 are unedited versions of the original drawings and have not been re-touched. Pics #1 thru #8 have been digitally restored and enhanced to offer several background color options.
